Countdown to Marquez-Barrera made me wonder...

I had Morales winning the first fight as well, D. The first one was close, but Morales clearly won the second fight.

Sure, Barrera won the IIIrd fight handily enough, but I thought there was no need because I had Morales ahead in the first two.

Anyway, the first fight is my favorite of the three.

I really dont see how Morales won the first fight...but I had the first fight a draw, not counting the lousy call in the 12th round for that 'knockdown'. although if the ref hadnt stopped counting, MAB could have got a real knockdown, who knows?...
The rounds I gave to MAB felt like they were definitely his tho, as in they werent close enough for me to wonder if Morales deserved it. and I gave that 5th round to Morales, and the 9th or whatever, the one Lederman completely screwed up on and gave to MAB but it was clearly Erik's.

A lot of people remember the 1st fight as a big Barerra win where he beat Morales by 2 or 3 rounds, but in reality it was close as could be, and the only reason people remember it the other way is because of how strong Barerra finished.

but anyways, they were both in way better shape for the first fight, more to their prime. but the 3rd was excellent to watch too.

i always though the first one was a robbery after the 12th round ko i was thinking no way morales wins now and then they announced those bs scores

I thought the first fight was the best of the three. I had the fight a draw as well but with that bull**** k.d. marco should have got the decision.

Ive seen the first fight to many times to count and with different people and it varies some people think morales won and some thought marco won

most thou of the time if someone thought erik won they would say it was close but the people that thought marco won some would say it was close and a few of them would say he definitely won it.

The ones that thought erik won gave it to him because of the activity and the one that gave it to marco thought he won for the cleaner shots.

it was the 10th.....Morlaes won that round so clearly, i **** my pants when Lederman gave it to Marco...........

I seriously cant unserstand how anyone would give the 5th round to marco as well, it was a one sided round except for the one big right barrera landed...

I always preferred the first one because it was exciting and very close to score, even though I had Barrera winning, Morales got the verdict. To me the third one, while exciting was clearly Barrera's.

barrera said in the countdown that morales told him that, morales said in ESTO(newspaper) that Barrera lied....


if barrera told me the sky is blue, id look up just to make sure.....

Their third fight was excellent, but their first fight was one of the best fights ever.
