Cotto has about as much chance of KOing Mayweather as Hatton does of getting a rematch and KOing Mayweather.

    Slim to none.

Its funny how so many people on this board are picking Cotto to beat Mayweather but half of them wont show and give an idea on how Cotto is going to beat Floyd. I think most of them are hoping Cotto beats him. (just my opinion)
They always hope somebody beat PBF no matter who the opponent is. To be honest I don't want the PBF vs. De la Hoya II to happen. I respect Cotto and think he is a good fighter and if any of the current welter weights was to get a fight with PBF I think Cotto should be 1st on the list or 1st in the ring I should say. But Cotto brings nothing to the table to make me think he can beat PBF.

Cotto is not smarter, faster or more versatile than PBF in the ring. Cotto has more power but its not one punch KO power. Since PBF doesn't really take many flush punches that power advantage is somewhat negated. PBF vs. Cotto equals Cotto's 1st loss IMO and with no doubts in my mind.

He needs to be smart, cut off the ring even better than he usually does, and set everything up with his jab. His timing has to be excellent because Floyd's is too, so that means the reach advantage does come into play. He needs to be as ruthless as he was against Judah, and as sharp as he was against Mosely at times.

I agree with that. I was trying to give Cotto the benifit of the doubt by saying he can pressure Floyd but we all know what Floyd does to a pressure type of fighter. (picks his ass apart with lead rights and hooks).

Also Floyd body punching will play another key in this fight. Floyd is a very underrated body puncher. It makes me wonder how can Cotto beat Mayweather.(chances are=slim to none*just my opinion)

If Mayweather decides to play sick-and-move it is hard to foresee how a snail like Cotto could catch him? Speed kills and in this case it is most likely to kill Cotto's chances for the win. Cotto is good for boxing and a represents everything a great champion should be, and I have to admit I'd like to see him KO that mouthy like punk Mayweather. Lets get real, it ain't gonna happen.

it's simple. who fraud picks to fight and signs the contract, he will win.

who the fraud makes excuses and avoids to fight, those are the fighters that will beat him - Harris, Margarito, Cotto.

Harris was interesting becuz fraud saw the danger in him and steered clear of it, though he probly still would have won. but becuz fraud avoided Harris for Bruseles you have to wonder. there are no doubts Cotto and Margarito annihilate fraud, hence they will be ducked and dodged.

**** Floyd To His Arms SO He Has No Choice But To Fight unless Floyd Wants To Lose Cuz He Cant Punch Anymore....HE WOULD BE BADLY BRUISED ON THE ARMS!!

That is easier said than done. In order to make it work Cotto would have to walk through every punch that Mayweather threw at him. That is a plausible strategy, but could easily backfire giving Mayweather the win through a stoppage on cuts.

Mayweather wont lose to cotto hes waaay to skilled and tough for cotto. he beat oscar at 154 and you guys think hes going to lose to someone smaller and weaker than oscar? yeah right. hatton was faster than cotto and oscar was stronger and all the fighters between had tough qualities. all of them tried....all of them failed. Mayweather would tax his ass if they ever fought like mosley did and judah almost did. and judah got destroyed by Mayweather too .
