...Really accomplished to make anyone believe he has what it takes to beat a real PRIME contender or PRIME Champion?
I haven't seen anything to tell me he has what it takes.
He has only beaten 3 fighters who were nowhere near World ranked opponents.
2 fought outside their regular weight classes.
Hanshaw landed more punches on Roy than he had been hit in his whole career.
Tito was never going to stand a chance bearing in mind he was never worth his salt above 160 at the very most(I'm being generous here).
He was inactive and hadn't won a meaningful fight himself for years.
Can anyone who thinks Jones has anything left point out SERIOUSLY what he has shown that offers any insight to Jones becoming a real force at 168-175 ever again.
If not can you finally get a grip and realise he is finished.

If Jones can actually beat a contender like Chad Dawson I may just change my mind.

What does he have left for a legit guy?...well that is the question.
His last three 'wins' does nothing to make me think that he can beat a top contender.It kind of reminds me of Larry Holmes when he wouldn't go away.
Yes he could beat all the nobodies and those who never were...but,a real contender...no.

I tend to think that Roy is still closer to 'sleepy time' than being what he once was.

That being said, I think he can hold his own with most of his division, 175 is particularly weak, and that is a great benefit to him.

I was never advised. But the only thing I can think of was this: It was before Klitschko v. Peter, and I called Peter a no talent something or other. Shortly after that I was banned for over 6 months. Dont know for sure if it was that, but I cant think of anything else.
