It's not to do with age though, is it. For example, Erik Morales is shot and he's 30 ish (I forget how old he actually is) whereas, as you say, Hopkins is still going great guns at 40 odd. It's not how old you are that determines whether or not you're shot. I still think he is, but we'll have to wait to see how he does against someone like Calzaghe, Hopkins or Dawson before we say for certain I guess. But getting laid the **** out by Glen Johnson doesn't bode well.

point blank and period saying he's shot is extremely harsh, give the man some credit here and keep an open mind don't just shut the door he's trying open up again, he's 39 and is on a 3 fight winning streak which is more than I can say for a lot of guys today, just give him time and remember who he is yo he ain't no chump, if anyone can do the unprecedented it's him.

How can you say he didn't finish opponents in his prime!?! Did you actually watch him then? Have you ever looked at his records? Are you clinically insane?

Trinidad is a 147 pound fighter who has been inactive for how long ,i disagree that Roy would have finished him , Roy fought more cautiously in his prime when is the last time u saw Roy walk his oponent down like he did Tito
someone his size? you mean someone who is atleast 5'11 and has a longer reach than him? he just did that in his last fight.

Good point i agree but when u look at shot fighters today....Roy to me just doesnt fit in that category. His hand speed is still better than anyone above 168 and it seems as though the weight issues did bother roy when he came bak down to lhw..maybe that can explain the losses by knockout

OK.... are you seriously trying to tell us that Trinidad is the same size as Roy Jones?

sorry to cut in but he IS the same height and has a SLIGHT longer reach he just doesn't have the built in weight on him, something like what Paul Williams would be if he moved up to 170, bigger frame but naturally not as heavy.

Diego Coralles was 6ft tall, was he bigger than James Toney?

you completely overlooked the point yo open your mind and understand what I'm trying to tell you, he has a bigger FRAME he just naturally isn't as heavy as him, weight plays a big part because what if Diego (R.I.P) was a fat kid coming up? naturally since like 5 years old a fat kid who was always 200+ with the same exact frame, then he would be bigger right? same weight but he will have a bigger frame making him a taller man right? he STILL is the taller man with the bigger frame just A LOT lighter in terms of weight, it's a very simple point to understand I don't understand why the sarcasm.
