Yeah it would definitely be in Winky's best interest to have the fight made as low as possible since Jones looked absolutely anorexic at the weigh in vs Tito. But seeing as how Winky is coming off a loss to 42 year old Hopkins, his stock isn't where he'll be dictating much, especially to Jones.

True, the latest Ring ratings have Hatton a notch or two ahead of Winky at this point. I found that slightly curious considering Ricky was basically demolished by Mayweather and some felt Winky got jobbed against Hopkins. The numbers don't lie.

Yeah if Winky had gotten the decisions he deserved against Taylor and Hopkins he would be much higher on the list. Hatton was boosted way up by his win over Tszyu (to #4) and has slipped since, though strangely enough did not drop at all after the loss to Floyd.

Why should Jones go down to 157 to fight a guy who weighed almost 170 in his last fight? Does Winky really think he is going to dictate terms to Roy Jones?

Because they both want to fight Oscar at that weight, so hes saying if they are serious about being able to get to that weight (mostly Roy), then fight at that weight and winner gets Oscar.

Winky and Vernon Forrest need to get it out of their heads that Oscar will EVER fight them. I can make a long list of boxers that DLH would fight ahead of them, and we're talking about a guy who can hand pick his opponents and is at the end of his career.

Winky didn't beat Hopkins and the Taylor fight was close and it depended on who you scored rounds 9 and 10 for. I had it a draw.

I think he edged out the Vargas fight though.
