I would just love for Floyd to be an underdog going into a fight. That way, I will make crazy money when I put down big money on him.
I agree, although it does seem like more pundits and professional types are saying Cotto could beat Mayweather than was the case with Hatton.

Old legends usually aren't fighters that can be breezed by, no matter how old they get.

I think Floyd would win, but not on the basis that Cotto struggled with Mosley, because Mayweather isn't Shane Mosley.

I think that Miguel has gotten a bit too tentative to beat Floyd with his new style. He might have had a better chance with his pressure style, but I don't think so.
Floyd will be beaten by a tall, strong jabber, and Cotto is not that.
Interesting, so you think Cotto has switched up entirely?

Maybe not completely, but he showed a lot of it against Judah, and then almost primarily operated in a jab-first style against Mosley. He did mix it up some, but for the most part, he fought a very controlled style in the fight against Mosley.

This definately isn't the same dude who fought Ricardo Torres.

Cotto already lost to Mosley in my opinion, how the **** is he going to beat Floyd who is probably better in every aspect? **** that, Cotto is to slow to compete with Floyd.

I loved Cotto when he fought Abdullev, that former Olympian. Beautiful to watch as he broke him down.

My take was that Cotto can whip this stuff out on whoever he has to. Different opponent, different style, and what have you.. Although, I won't disregard your view of this DW421. Sometimes style alterations can **** guys up. There can be no doubt about that.

Lol, I can't believe you get on "Floyd nuthuggers" when you make ridiculous claims like this...

Apparantly this is one of the best left jabs EVER... E-V-E-R.

Cotto's is good, but it's not particularly long, or fast. It is powerful and accurate, but the speed issue may hurt him if he fought someone with a good right-hand counter like Floyd.

Speaking of switching styles...has anybody here actually seen Hatton actually BOX during the earlier part of his career. He has some crazy skills. He did it for a roudn against Floyd and almost knocked him down.
