We spoke about some old school moves, like the Archie Moore cross body defense, as well as different defenses on both back and front foot. He gave me his NY number and said he'd train me sometime. He's a really nice guy.
That's funny what he said abotu Camacho and Malignaggi. I always felt that Camacho had better pop. maybe it was the southpaw angle that it came from beat he did hurt most of the cans and soft fighters that he fought. Malignaggi never hurts fighters.

Thats awesome, must have been cool to see Wlad train!

I agree that Joey Gamache is a super nice guy, I know him personally &have been in the gym with him before, he's a class act, and is a real student of the sport, I think he'll turn out to be a really good trainer, especially working with E. Steward like he has been. I sparred with a Joey a few times back in the late 90's, man was he quick handed and sharp, a really good body puncher too...I don't think my ribs will ever be the same haha.

What was most impressive was watching him hit the speed bag, he is flawless. I think Jonathon Banks was on the bag when I was there.
