I understand that... but it's going to be tough to get a single vote for champions going toe-to-toe vs. scrubs putting on a snoozer, now wouldn't it?

People ***** and moan about how much tactical PPV main events are, so I wanted to see how much they were held in contempt, that's all.

It basically comes down to this: 2 guys who aren't world class or top notch in their division going at it always has the potential to be an eye pleasing affair. But at the end of the day I find a tactical match between 2 of the best to be much more exciting.

Not to mention when 2 superstars go at it it has the ability to effect and shake up the division a bit.

        I watch all the fights...

        ESPN,Showtime,HBO,PPV,Versus..

        All the internet fights..

        Sometimes Telefutura,Telemundo..

So I get to watch them all, but ofcourse I much rather see two world class fighters go at it...

But when I watch Friday night fights and there is a brawl between two tough Journeymen, I enjoy that aswell.

I like tactical matchups as well as two world class fighters beating the hell out of each other. I'm probably one of the few people that actually enjoyed De La Hoya/Trinidad

To me, pretty much all boxing is very good the first time around.

The more tactical it is, the more rewatch value it has.

            That's how I see it.

Tactical match-up, any day. I like to feel like history is in the making when I watch a fight. It's why I'm dissapointed that Floyd is fighting Delahoya when he coud be adding to history with a Cotto bout.

lol Gee thats a tough one. Two P4P fighters or two guys that have no buisness fighting? Hmmmmmm..

How about a tactical fighter vs a skilled brawler, I think that comparison makes more sense.

Agreed. The skill level is just great to watch.

That's why the Vasquez/Marquez trilogy is so good. It's the best of both worlds.
