The one thing that botheres me about Roy is that since being ko'ed, he's so much more careful as a fighter. You can't be that way and I think if he gave Tito less respect he would have walked through Tito and ko'ed him much earlier in the fight.

if your talkin about not KOing him... hes done that with fighters since he was 25... just carry them through the fight, and give the fans 12 rounds and not hurt the other fighter.... hey id rather see a KO too... but hes always done that

I dissagree, roy has a 73% ko ratio in his career, he's ko'ed out many a fighter, 38 out of 52 to be exact. The problem is he had so much speed and power over most opponents, that he never had to work for a KO, or put himself in harms way.

After he got ko'ed, he has been more timid and boxed alot more. His killer instinct was gone in this fight IMO and like I said, if he would have puched more and attcked, he would have ko'ed out Tito fairly easily in this fight.

well... look up david telesco and watch that fight when he was 30... if you dont think he carries fighters... i know hes carried others which isnt coming to mind at 945 am right now...

other than that... what more can you ask of a 39 year old fighter... he got the job done... and looked better doing it since the john ruiz fight in 2003...

he did knock the guy down twice at 39 years old... after making 169 1/2 pounds... after being a former heavyweight... that in and of itself is admirable...

Its not working for me but I've already watched the fight four times, It was one of roy's better performances in his career.

Both of them looked good in the fight. I find it astonishing that Jones managed to throw his left hand that quick with a torn bicep.

He may have lost some footwork and speed, but you never loose class, if you take into account his age, he looked good. He needs another stepping stone fight against an up and comer, someone to test those reflexes, his experience should see him through - then go after a belt to fulfil his wish of being a SMW champ again

Video was way too choppy. No fluidity. Jones had a great fight, but the vid was crap. Sorry.
