The more I watch the fight the more i realize that Roy looked really sharp. Before I was focusing too much on the fact he didn't finish Tito off. Roy definitley looked good out there, ecspecially in round 9. Good video.

yeah.. what more can you ask of this guy really...

-- he was a former heavyweight champ

-- he just made 169 1/2 pounds

--at 39 years old

--the lowest weight hes been in ten years, at 39...

--hes been knocked out TWICE

--to come back and give that much output alone... that fast.. that accurate.. and that age..

--in and of itself is admirable.. i dont care who he was facing

--and to knock down tito twice alone

... i dont know if he can beat a true top 3 elite fighter... but i feel better and better every time he fights...

bade ajamu - id rate as a 4, out of 10 fighter... and the performance was a 4 out of 10 as well

hanshaw - was a 6.5 fighter out of ten... and id give the performance a 6.5

tito was id say 7.5 to 8.0 fighter... still... and give roys performance and honest 7.5 to 8

he used like everything... he never uses the jab normally, a normal 39 yr old fighter... even a great 39 yr old fighter, cant quite put on a performance like that... i know its not prime roy, i know its nothing like it used to be... but thats only if you compare him, to his formerself... if you compare him right now to what is out there.... he may not be able to DOMINATE like he could before... but he can definitely still compete with the top, win or lose... my opinion obviously... just mine

Roy Jones Jr. will never be prime Roy Jones again. But thats obvious, whats important is that he won and looked good doing it. Roy looked the best hes looked since the Ruiz win.
