i dont think it was ilegal wrap.. i think daddy trinindad was trying to put enough tape on until it weighed 8oz.. then he wouldnt need gloves.

Here's a fact.... Tape is NO harder then Tito's knuckles.. So to suggest that the "tape" is the killer is gayish. Tape alone would never produce a KO. It's all about Tito's raw power. Hopkins was simply too big... Tito never got to land a nice solid shot too often in that fight. The wraps thing is foolish in 2008. Tito is a HOF because of his raw as Foreman put it, "Tito's once in a lifetime power." Add to that his come-forward heart... and you have Titoooooo Trinidaaaaaad!!!!

Wrapping your hands extra only protects you hands and adds cushion. Fighters with hand problems do that to prevent hand injuries. Most punchers can't wrap their hands like most fighters without risking serious damage. 8 oz gloves don't protect enough.

Enough with this ****, if he did, he deserves credit for actually winning, it's just like using steroids. How many people have been cut short due to a roid infested person. They showed his wrapping in the Jones fight, nobody said ****.

yeah and he couldnt make glass chinned RJJ blink.... not that i care about this issue, but thats hardly proof that he was on the up and up all along
