In the first fight,Marquez's right hand worked perfect for him,he hurt Vazquez twice with the right hand,in the 2nd fight,he threw the left hook TOO MUCH,he barely threw the right which works for him against Vazquez,in the rubber match,if he uses the left hand as much as he did in the second,i think he will get countered with a Vazquez left and sooner or later it'll take its toll and Israel will win by TKO,if he uses the right hand similar to the first, and mix in a left hook to the body,he can win,its gna be close!

I'm also gonna say, Izzy's momentum will win this fight. He's got too much to lose should he lose this fight. He knows this. He gave his excuse the 1st fight and made his point the 2nd fight. Now he wants to reassure the point that he is the better man. This will pull him through to either a KO win or decision, but Izzy KO's his opponents, he don't leave it for judges.

Theres nothing better then going to a big fight live for a boxing fanatic, I'ma go with Marquez. This is such a razor close fight but I think if they brawl Marquez could barely beat izzy, if Marquez fights like his brother Juan, he'd blow out izzy on the scorecards

Like what's been mentioned Rafa is going to have to box a little more and not get into as many brawls with Vasquez because he usually comes out on top on those exchanges. Vasquez in both fights has found a way to land his good left hook especially in the second fight where he landed it many times. If Marquez can stay away from that punch more he could win, but if Vasquez lands it consistently again he's gonna win again.

Im rooting for Marquez but frankly this is up in the air. Vasquez' chin is ****ing granite. Marquez needs to do the same thing he did in Round 1 of their first bout for the entire fight.

I'm picking Vasquez as well. I think he's too strong mentally and physically for Marquez to handle over 12 rounds. Every time Vasquez fights he fully expects to get his nose busted and his eyes torn up. That kind of warrior mentality is tough to beat unless the opponent just has overwhelming power. Marquez has demonstrated that he can sting anyone, but I don't see him KOing Vasquez. The dude is just too determined. Like many others have already suggested, if Marquez wins it will be because he put on the best boxing show of his career. I can see him starting well, but he just won't box like he has to for the full twelve. Vazquez TKO10 Marquez (not really necessary to mention that it will be FOTY stuff).Last edited by NachoMan; 01-22-2008, 07:58 PM.
