So who do you like Vasquez or Marquez?

I just bought my tix for the rubber match (was at the first). It was hard to find a boxing guy who was picking Izzy in either of the first two fights but I think it may be the other way around this time.

If Vasquez's face holds up then I think Raffy is gonna have a tough time. Marquez is going to have to resort to being a true boxer puncher in this fight and try to avoid the almost avoidable hardcore brawl.

Marquez is a monster puncher but he is not as strong as Vasquez and his beard does not allow him to take the punishment that Izzy can take.

Raffy has got to box, Izzy has got to slug-who would have thought-who do you like.

Marquez is more skilled, he gotta box clever, no brawling, i can see him winning a clear cut decision in this fight,

Im going with Vasquez because he has a little too much power for marquez at this weight, i wonder how bad that last fight afffected Marquez too, its a pick em fight, Marquez should win if he can fight at distance, but i pick Vasquez, possibly by stoppage.

Izzy all the way! He's the man! That guy shows, even when you may be slightly behind your opponent in terms of boxing ability...heart, strength, and pure determination can win.

I think Marquez has this one. I think last fight was an off night and not to mention an early stoppage. I am not saying he would won the fight but i think on a night where he is clicking he should win the fight

Well, take a close look at both fights.

Fight 1: Rafa was able to hurt Vazquez and break his nose enough to obstruct his breathing. But Izzy HURT Vazquez with a left hook. Watching that fight, I couldn't help but think that the longer it went, the worse it was going to get for Rafa. But, Izzy through in the towel, understandably of course.

Fight 2: Basically picked up where it left off. Izzy caught Rafa with a vicious left hook in the 3rd round I believe but he was able to box himself out of danger. But that left was almost a foreshadowing on what was about to happen.

The fact is, Rafa has been the most hurt in both of these fights being down twice from a left hook. Izzy was physically mutilated, but was never stunned the way Rafa was. The way it is looking, it doesn't seem like Rafa will be making it past the 6th round unless he finds a way to nuetralize Izzy's left hook.

Vasquez......I was wrong the first time, right the second time and will be taking Vasquez the 3rd time.

I think that Marquez will be able to brawl as long as he keeps the fight in really really really close.

If its a brawl like in the 2nd fight, where there was a bit of space inbetween them, it allows for Vazquez to use his great jab to set up his big shots.

Marquez hits harder then Vazquez and Vazquez is probably slower then Marquez.

Both fighters really have some options as to how they want to fight this third fight, and no matter what they pick it should be fantastic fight

I'll go with Vasquez. I think if Marquez would use more of his boxing ability instead of trading with Vazquez then I think he would win, but I just don't see that happening.
