i think its better he fight quintana..he hasnt fought anyone in 7 months, he wont get ring rust , because he has been training EVERY day in pr since the fight, but he has to advance his career. beating quintana will mean nothing anyways, after the savage beating he got from cotto, he'll never be the same, whatever that was, because he just has one overhyped ''prospect''' in julio under his resume. paul williams vs ANYONE is a mitmatch in WW, hes just too big.

Paul Williams should be able to handle Quintana with some difficulty but not THAT much trouble. That would give him 3 months to face Cintron in May. MAKE IT HAPPEN!

I think gomez vs cotto will be an entertaining fight, but in gomez last fight, he seemed to struggle a little against tackie. Im choosing cotto by tko.

I think he broke his hand in the 2nd round and continued to fight.. Thats why he looked like he struggled... Whats funny is that gomez really did have a hand injury not like Cintron.. he just made that excuse cuase he looked bad agianst feliciano and didnt want to fight Williams... Rolling on the floor LOL. I didnt see gomez rolling on the floor like a baby. Cintron shouldnt talk...

While I agree that Gomez has done little to deserve this shot, I also don't think it is as bad a matchup as people make it out to be.Gomez is a tough customer and has fought bigger men than Cotto.

That's what I been saying. Ppl think Gomez is gonna lay down for Cotto and will actually give Cotto a hard fight. Lose lose situation for Cotto on that one. Cintron on the other hand holds another title so why not unify.
