Kermit Cintron: "Gomez Does Not Deserve Cotto"

According to IBF welterweight champion Kermit Cintron, Contender star Alfonso Gomez has done nothing to deserve a fight with WBA champion Miguel Cotto. Cintron feels that he should be the fighter who takes on Cotto. Cotto is scheduled to fight Gomez on April 12 at the Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City. Don't get me wrong, I think Cintron/Cotto is a better fight. That ahs nothing to do with deserving it. What has Cintron done though? Thats the question.

In his ONLY step up, he lost to Margarito. That's his career, at this point.

gomez doesnt present problems because he beat up an arturro gatti... its the tools that he showed... fast hard jabs and right hands right down the middle... i wanna see cotto take it... i think cotto will win of course... but it truly wont be a walk in the park IMO
