def not unbeatable..jt has a great chance to win on the 16th.. maybe abraham could beat him maybe calzaghe.. not tito.. not now maybe tito eight years ago.. christYes, I am. Get off of Pavliks nuts. It's sad. Trinidad was out of shape. is that what you mean to tell me?
He made a pretty good showing of himself against a fighter I'd still say is overall better than Pavlik. Pavlik is exciting, fun to watch, big punch, amazing heart, nice jab. Great. Not unbeatable. Stop drinking the kool-aid.Comment

Then, why would it be a problem to make the fight. Trinidad has fought tougher opponents. He is a smart guy in the ring. Not smart at adapting, but know shwta to do in there. He showed flashes of his former self in there with a bigger guy and a harder hitting more active guy. NO reason for them both not to make money.Comment

Who the hell is callin Pavlik the next Sugar Ray Robinson?? I think you're diggin a little too deep bro. Pavlik is still a fighter coming into his prime and has potential fights with big names in the division.Yes, I am. Get off of Pavliks nuts. It's sad. Point is that Pavlik "today" will body Trinidad inside of 4 rounds. It doesn't matter if Roy pitty Patted the whole time and didnt Tito catch a right hook that dropped him 5 seconds later? LOL.
I got respect for Tito man, don't get me wrong. But at this point you have to look at it business wise. A lot of people aren't going to pay to see Tito fight a fighter in his prime who will man handle him.Comment

i honestly thought trinidad looked great if you measure in all the ingredients... fighting at a higher weight, being inactive, and fighting someone much faster... i thought he looked good... his punches towartds the beginning of the fight were fast accurate and HARD... if he drops weight, and fights someone with a come forward style... like oscar... i dont care what anyone says.. it would be a great fightComment

Trust me, Pavlik's fanboys have REALLY gotten crazy lately. Saying that he's going to reign for the next 5 years or until he moves up. Thinking things like this based off of two wins over limited fighters, annoys me.Who the hell is callin Pavlik the next Sugar Ray Robinson?? I think you're diggin a little too deep bro. That being said, If Trinidad did beat Pavlik, he'd of done the thing that he failed to do before the first time he retired. Win the middleweight title. If he doesn't, he loses. At this point in his career, it's not that big of a deal. I doubt anyone with a level-headed mindstate holds it against his legacy. He's still a first-ballot HOFamer and he's in the top 5 of the best PR fighters of all time. Plus, they'd both get paid. It's win-win for him, all the way.Comment

Why would I be kidding? Did you read a LOL or something when I made the thread? FYI, many fans would want to see Trinidad go out on a win because that's what every great champion deserves. With good matchmaking, Trinidad can have that. It's not like he took a beating from Jones. You gotta be kidding me LOL
Who in their right mind is going to pay to see another Trinidad fight??? His last 2 fights showed he doesn't have it anymore. You can call it a contrast of styles and that he can't fight those type of fighters (ala Winky & Roy).
But to say he should fight Oscar, Vargas, or Mayorga??? Why???
At Trinidad's age he can't afford to fight for the sake of fighting because he's dame sure not in line for any titles.
He should just bow out now. He's still a Hall of Famer and one of the grear fighters of our generation. Keep it Movin...Last edited by Exciterx30; 01-22-2008, 02:07 PM.Comment

I could see him fighting Jeff Lacy but I agree with the majority of people. He should just hang it up and take a bow into the sunset. No shame in what he has accomplished. Great fighter, just isn't the same anymore.Comment
