    Kessler beat Andrade and lost to Calzaghe. that is not a "great" year.
    Pavlik Beat Zertuche, Miranda and Taylor all in one year thats a great year.
    Then you get Floyd who beats Oscar then KO's Hatton. that my friend is why Floyd is the Figther of the Year.

        lol from he guys Kelly and Floyd fought you can say maybe Zertuche wasnt that good. and DLH was past his prime. but Taylor, Miranda and Hatton were all good and basically undefeated too. and dude Calzaghe is not God.

          Hatton is ok. Taylor and Miranda couldn't beat my blind grandmother.

                Well...

                Joe was the sports personality of the year and thats agaist all other sports and not just boxing so hes go my vote easily!

                  Exactly. No one did as much for the world of sports as Joe Calzaghe last year. But I say Kessler for fighter of the year because he showed the courage neccesary to give Joe the opportunity.

                      What's wrong with that... Calzaghe beat a world champ... unified the belts... he finally should get the credit he has long deserved.
