Hey Joe: fight the Pavlik/Taylor winner.
You seem jealous and bitter. I don't care that he's from a different country than I am - I appreciate any boxer as talented as Joe. His resume is much better than you make it out to be.

The man hasn't lost in 15 years (as a pro) and has been successfully defending a title for over ten years. He's coming off a win against a 28 year old, 39-0 fighter with two world titles!

Jealous? No. Bitter? Probably. Dissapointed by the mindset of Boxing fans? ABSOLUTELY. I feel the same way about Floyd. Guys should be held accountable for their records. He never fought Taylor, Wright or Hopkins. Everyone needs to stop making excuses. These excuses, especially financial ones, are ALWAYS there. Can Cal-Z make a fortune by fighting Peter Manfredo in Wales. Yes. But then, as fans, are only weapon is to say: Hey Joe... Don't fight Manfredo/Bika/German bums... you're the best, fight the best.

For instance I love Kelly Pavlik. It looks like he's fighting John Duddy in June. I think that's bull****. I'm not going to defend that. I'm not going to support that. Can he make a fortune at the Garden considering Duddy's ability to draw? Absolutely. Does that make it excusable? NO ****ING WAY.

Its not going to happen, due to the money men, but wouldn't it be great if we could go back to just one governing body? Or get the press to ridicule the minor belts into insignificance? A situation where the Champion HAD to fight the number 2 ..etc. The Ring belts are a good idea, but due to the ownership of the Ring, even they are not beyond criticism. However, to end on a good note, we have had some great fights in the past year and more to come, the spectre of UFC might be enough to keep the Boxing Game honest (well....er... less dishonest). Or am I just an eternal optimist??

The only excuses are the ones used by the Americans who dodged him when they were prime, and are prepared to fight him now because WHEN they lose they can say they would never lose to him in their prime. Unfortunately, you gullible Americans will think to yourselves "hes been in there with him, he should know" and Joe will never get credit for anything he does, and its down to ****faced ****s like you. Im fed up with all the Calzaghe bashing, he beats Hopkins, Jones, Taylor, Pavlik and anyone else you idiots think is a superstar, show some ****ing respect for the most dominant fighter of our generation.

Please stop. Show some respect? What is he? The queen? Whatever. Gullible Americans? Dude, what does my statement have to do with America? ****faced ****s? Ouch.

Calzaghe would beat Taylor, Pavlik, Wright... bla blah bla blah le LA!
He didn't. Can't say for sure who's fault that is. But, I do know this: Calzaghe throughout his career has resisted fighting outside the UK or the 168 weight. You have to make sacrifices to make the best fights. For whatever reason, Calzaghe never did. Now we have questions about Calzaghe's career. The questions are fair. Same will be true with Mayweather. He chose money and security... I feel like Calzaghe did too.

What did I say???...I said I have seen him twice,he was impressive against Lacy, and then I saw him beat up Manfredo...who lost on the contender, which was a game show.

What did I say wrong???...must I anoint Calzaghe the greatest ever, based on a good win over Lacy?
