My point is that with his erratic behavior and back acne, Golota has shown classic symptoms of roid use in the past. They just weren't testing for it back then.

Golota's behaviour is because of his mental problems, panic attacks and such, not steroids. Steroids don't cause that kind of stuff.

Golota could use steroids, anyone could but he didn't exactly look like a beast in his prime.

Toney used steroids for his numerous injuries, not because he wanted to get more muscle.

        Just look at him.

I think Golota wins this fight easily especially now cause Toney don't have the power to hurt Andrew. This might be the first time Toney is KO'd. Especially since Golota is still in great shape...

This really is a moot point b/c King has promised Golota a title shot for his win over Mollo. So by my estimation, if Sam Peter defeats Maskaev, he’ll opt for a defense against the veteran Golota…

As for James Toney, he’s totally out of the hw picture right now having almost lost a decision to an opponent(Batchelder) who was there, just to make Toney look good. Basically he’s a shot fighter, who’s probably looking for one last decent payday before he retires for good…

Golota used to have a very good physique when he was younger, plus a bad case of back acne along with his irrational behavior (classic steroid abuse symptoms).

I've been waiting for about the last 2 or 3 years for Toney to be in great shape. I've lost hope in that happening. Sadly I'd have to go with Golota at this stage of their careers.

Dude if you really think steroids have caused Golota's mental problems then you're way off.

I think Golota's physique actually got better (or more muscular, whatever) as he got older, he was less muscular and faster in his prime.

[QUOTE=Tunney5;3066123]The winner of Maskaev vs. Peter may have to face either Vitali or the mandatory (winner of Virchis vs. Gomez). QUOTE]

if vitali is ready to go and wants the fight and the shot is given to golota first the WBC may as well flush their belt down the toilet, theyve already struck out a couple times the past few years.

There's an article on the boxing talk website today about Toney calling Golota out.
Virchis vs. Gomez is off, as far as I know and the sanctioning bodies usually allow for an optional defense after the challenger wins the title. Supposing Sam Peter wins, I see it very likely that Golota gets a shot. As for a Toney-Golota bout, I think the probability very low….
