Andrew Golota vs. James Toney

If Golota doesnt have a meltdown, he has got to be the favorite for that fight. Considering Toney's poor conditioning and last couple performances.

my guy reaction is that toney would win a UD just cause Golota is slow as molasses

but then you have to consider he damn near lost to danny batchelder who im pretty sure golota would knock out inside of 4 rounds

it would be a good fight for either guy in lieu of giving them a title eliminator type fight they certainly dont deserve

If toney comes in great shape i think he can squeez a t ud, but if he comes fat again, Golota wins

I'd probably pick Toney if he got himself into half decent condition. He still is very ring smart and Golota isn't too hard to figure out.

Golota throws like 700 punches a fight. Golota's workrate could be too much for Old Toney, Golota did well against another slickster Chris Byrd.

Toney's counters could frustrate Golota though, and we know how easily Golota can be frustrated.

I think it would be a good fight between two old guys.

Toney has no right to call anybody out, he lost the respect of the boxing community with his ass constantly being caught using all kinds of illegal **** before fights. He was a great fighter but constant juicing killed him.

He may never have been caught, but I'd sure bet that Golota has been juiced up at various times in his career.
