roy will beat calzaghe heres why......

ok calzaghes a very good fighter and ye i think hell beat hopkins ass in april. But calzaghe throws too many punches..... if he fights roy that wont work against roy.... roy is a smart fighter he can avoid most of calzaghes punches.... as long as he doesnt chill too much on the ropes with joe then hes cool. in the middle of the ring roy outboxes him .

Roy's going to have to wait for Bernard's sloppy seconds.

A little data to back up your theory of a possible Roy win.

Joes average opponent has 22 wins and 6 losses.
Roys average opponent has 26 wins and 5 losses.

I dunno. If Roy doesn't throw punches, like he did against Tito in periods Calzaghe will eat him.

I have Calzaghe favourite and should win by ko/tko. But wouldn't be suprised if roy pulled a ud.

Are you ****ting me? Calzaghe to KO a former Heavyweight Champion? Now I know ever since the Tarver KO in their second fight some people have labelled Roy's chin as being "suspect", but Calzaghe? Calzaghe's a guy who hit Jeff Lacy clean on the mark over 1,000 times and wasn't able to KO him.

Joe's an amazing fighter no doubt, but a knockout artist he is not. I can see Roy blocking most of his flurries with his gloves.

everybody thinks jones back to his old self after hes win over a man who hasnt been in the ring in like 2 years, now he did show a lil bit of promise agen but hes got along way b4 hes back to the level he once was, back when jones was in hes prime calzaghe would have no chance but it a bit hard to tell now.
