After hearing about the Oscar De La Hoya's recent decision to face Floyd Mayweather Jr. in a September rematch, WBC junior middleweight champion Vernon Forrest (40-2, 29KOs) expressed his outrage to BoxingScene.com. It must be frustrating when you can't get a top fihgter in the ring with you. So the only thing Vernon can do I guess is talk trash. I'm not even sure if Mayorga wants a 3rd fight with Vernon. I haven't heard him mention it at all.

Vernon made good points at first then loses all credibility when he says He is in the boxing business not the boxing game, well thats what Floyd is in and that's why he is making these ***** decisions, so I think Forrest should prolly think before speaking, yeah he spoke truth about Floyd but then went on to discredit himself!!!!

Forrest is talented but he's no p4p number two. It's not real hard to get Forrest a fight at this point. Holla at Winky Wright and give him a title shot, if not that, because Winky's an idiot and demands 20 million dollars just to walk in an arena, go talk to Cory Spinks and unify the belts.

Your right now a days it's a business. In a perfect world fighters would fight anybody no matter the amount of cash that was involved, but that's unfortunately not reality.

Exactly. This man is a businessman and that's why he has no fans. That's why the big names don't want to fight him. Only a true warrior like Mayorga will fight him.
