I almost became a fan of Forrest, then i find out he is refusig to fight Martinez, wow, he's doing the same **** that he belives is being done onto him. Now, i don't care about Forrest getting his shot at the big names. He's talking just like Floyd Mayweather and that is a shame.

**** Forrest and his ******ed attitude, he is just looking for a huge pay day. Mayorga always talks **** but even in defeat he tries to back it up. Forrest isn't exciting to watch, and I don't think he has any business calling people out.
If he wants to be the best at light middleweight he should fight cory spinks, i think he is the man to beat right now in that division.

          Forrest Is a Clown!!!

I agree that Vernon is only looking a for payday, but to his defense a Forrest vs Dela Hoya fight would have more credilibilty than Dela Hoya vs. Stevie Forbes. I understand that Oscar doesn't wish to take a risky fight that might jeopardize guaranteed millions against FLoyd. I've always felt that when Oscar finally hangs them up for good, he'll be able to say that he fought all of the the "So-Called" top fighters of his day. Winky & Vernon are really the only two he wont be able to say he fought. One of the things that I admired about Oscar is that he was always willing to fight anyone! I guess that can't be said about him nowadays! I feel the only fight that might give Vernon a good payday is, if there's a chance that Winky is willing to come back down to 154, then Vernon needs to call him out for a payday.....otherwise he needs to fight the other "Champions" in his division!!!

I aggree about Cory Spinks. He beat Karmanzin even if he was running like a ***** in a boring ass fight that many belive Karmanzin actually won.

He's doin what he needs to do. Trash talk his way into getting big fights. Nobody wants to fight him and I can imagine that being frustrating, especially for a guy with the age of 36. He's proven he's back, now someone needs to step up to the plate and fight him

If you properly read my comments, I actually praised Oscar for he's willingness to fight the "top" fighters of his day. Stevie Forbes is no where near that. I'm in no way shape or form trying to discredit Oscar's career and his many tough accomplishments, so please don't misunderstand my comments. In my opinion I would love to see him fight two guys from his ERA that he didn't get in the ring with Winky & Vernon, instead of fighting a guy like Stevie Forbes, whom BHop's little nephew just beat not too long ago(although a disputed victory). Your LMAO comment was totally uncalled for. You need to come with a better reply than that!!!...Thank you and have nice night!
