This is most likely not going to happen. May 3 is a HBO PPV date for Golden Boy Promotions. If Oscar isn't fighting, which looks very likely now, it will be reserved for either Shane Mosley or possibly even Hopkins-Calzaghe since no date has been finalized there.

Now comes news that Barrera will be on the card...one would HOPE the undercard, but there's no way GBP yields the main event of this date to two Top Rank guys.

Mosley-Cintron works for me, but you better have a stacked undercard if you want to sell PPVs.

well this fight is very good en terms of names but i dont see it would be a dramatic fight. Cotto is a better all around boxer so dont expected that cotto would stop in front of margarito to exchange. I expected a fight of cotto very similar to the shane mosley one but too more precautios. It would be a UD of cotto in a very bored fight cotto running all around the ring and just doing the enough to get a win.

**** the golden boy, is he gonna try to put Barrera in a ppv that date? I wish he would just retire and leave some ppv dates for Arum, his stable has some promising fighters who can't get dates on hbo because they love Oscar.
