    PTI just mentioned DLH/PBF 2....

Wilbon asks Toney "Are you excited to get this rematch" and Toney responds with "I am shaking in my boots (somewhat sarcastically) and than saying Boxing is dead.

DLH vs. Money Mayweather is good for boxing. Maybe the hardcore fans don't like it, but its good for boxing.

Floyd goes down from a body shot in 9. One so devastating that it reminds one of that absolute bone crucher that sent De La Hoya crumpling to canvas in his epic bout, legacy bout, against Bernard the Executioner.

It's just not that big of a fight anymore.

I would expect the fight to do about the numbers of Mayweather-Hatton. Which is really still great, but nowhere what it once was. Is the money still the same? I don't see how it can be.

I do think that Mayweather-Cotto would be huge and pass Mayweather-Hatton. So one would kind of think their would be more money in that, right?

Maybe it's just me and wanting to see Mayweather/Cotto above all else in the Welterweight division......well, unless you count Mayweather/Williams but that would be a CERTAIN loss for Floyd so that takes the fun out of it.

I don't know if this fight is good for boxing. I remember how much the media talked about the first fight being a let down and not living up to the hype. Now they'll probably trash the sport even more

                What r u talking about???

Cotto-Mayweather EASILY outdoes HATTON-MAYWEATHER in the states. easily.

Id say, with a good 24/7 series... maybe 1.2 million. Cause remember, this is the best matchup the welterweight division has had since Leonard-Hearns, so there would be a LOT of hype among boxing fans. And when theres that much hype, it spreads fast.

LMAO are you serious!? No way does Cotto Mayweather outdo Hatton Mayweaher. Actually it would come close but it wouldn't surpass it in my book. Hatton has an enormous following, ENORMOUS and is a charismatic figure in his own right. Cotto......well................he's a cyborg. Cotto has a good following in his own right but nothing compared to Hatton. I would see Floyd/Cotto doing in the high 700 to low 800k range and that is with ALOT of hype surrounding it.

Enourmous in the UK lol... not in the states at all. 100% of the fans at his fights are there for his opponent, or from the UK. Not 1 Hatton fan in the building was from the US, or at least very very very few.

In the states, he is not a draw, simple as that. He has become more popular in the states now, after the 24/7 mayweather.

But the states have a BIG puerto rican and Mexican population. Cotto is a much bigger draw then Hatton in in the states. And what i mean by that is, if u barred the fight from people outside the US, a cotto fight would do better then a Hatton fight. And thats what PPV does, no outsiders buy US PPV, they buy PPV in their own homelands.

Mayweather-Cotto is EASILY a bigger and much better fight then Mayweather-Hatton was. Hatton did 850k, i think Cotto-Mayweather would break 1 mill
