Judah got hurt by Baldo who had a very little KO ratio. Cotto has been hurt by CHOP CHOP who has a very little Ko ratio, he has been hurt by Torres at 140 aND Judah at 147... Gomez is a big welter he could possibly hurt Cotto.

    IMO very likely.

Don't you know boxing better than that? It's not about the KO's on the record, in Gomez's case they don't represent his power at all. Gomez will keep Cotto haters satisfied by going the distance or getting stopped (too) late in the fight. Don't be suprised if Gomez rocks Cotto, this kid is very determent. Do I think he can win? No, not against Cotto, but due to Gomez's bad record people will underestimate him like they did Feliciano

I can see Gomez being game and maybe going the distance, but I can't see him rocking Cotto. Of course people have different ideas of what being rocked really means. I'm still hearing ridiculous stories about how Zab Judah supposedly had Kostya Tszyu almost KO'd in the first round of their fight.

I think Gomez will be ready and put up a good effort and last until the later rounds when Cotto's punches especially the body punches will be too much. I see Cotto stopping him in either the 9th or 10th round.

naw, he should just go in like Tyson and take him out quick. Glowmez or whatever his name is isnt on the same level as Cotto.
