yo i agree with you bcoz calzaghe failed to beat an overrated fighter who never fought someone his own size, calslappy aint gettin any credit from anyone becoz he barely got past a 44 yr old grand dad who is overrated and didnt defeat any fighter his own size.

he is the former undisputed light heavy weight champion of the world. He is a current light heavy titlist. He's elite. you're stoopid.

Trinidad, i dont care if he was coming up in weight, when hopkins beat him, tito was the best pound for pound fighter in the world. Antonio Tarver was a great win and at the time tarver was the number 1 in the lightheavies, the glen johnson stoppage win looks better and better, Keith holmes and howard eastman were both very tricky custormers but hopkins handled them with ease, and both fighters were in there prime. Also the joe calzaghe fight should of been called a draw!

Yes. His biggest wins are all from guys who moved up in weight. Does that diminish his wins? Not IMO. You really can discredit any fighters resume if you want. Someone slaughtered Ali's record in the Boxing History forum. You can do that to almost any boxer.

You can criticize Hopkins for staying at MW and fighting smaller guys when he could have moved up to LHW years ago or you can criticize Wlad for getting KO'd by journeymen.

Or you could criticize Calzaghe's record because he never left his backyard until just recently. Or you can Criticize Mayweather for not fighting Cotto yet.

It's all in how you look at it really. Who else can we **** on???
