If The Fight's Gonna Happen Why Wait Until September? That's 8 Months Away. Get It Over With Already. But At Least This Years Cinco De Mayo Won't Be A Waist Like Last Years I Hope. Mabe There Will Be A Good Fight For This Years Celebration. Gotta Wait And See

If Floyd fights Oscar over Cotto it will be clear that he is ducking him, and all the whining Floydboyz that pomised that Floyd would fight Cotto by the end of 2008 better STFU permanently.

Everyone knew that the asterisk on the two year vacation was "if the money is right."

The money doesn't get much more right than De La Hoya... so this isn't really a surprise from Floyd's side. It's a surprise from Oscar's side IMO.

how can anyone be a fan of these two clowns? They worked hard for everything they got...but they aren't fighters anymore. This **** just makes boxing look bad.

A 35 year old DLH that has lost arguably 4 of his last 5 fights is a bigger threat than Miguel Cotto or Paul Williams? Now I've heard it all. Are you sure you're not on the hype wagon's payroll?

guarantee if cotto was a household name mayweather would be fighting. Stop with the bs that fighters are scared of each other. These guys are at this level for a reason and being scared of people isnt one of them. mayweather vs baldi(a no name) did more buys then cotto vs mosley I dont agree with this fight i hate it but it has nothing to do with being scared. its all money my friend accept it and stfu

Not looking forward to the fight, they already fought once and Mayweather beat him, same result next time, they're only doing this for the money.

the dlh that fought floyd the first time would beat cotto and williams. Quit being such a hypocrite. Dlh has more power at 35 especially at 154 than cotto and williams if you dont know that then you dont know boxing.

                      thoughts right from my brain...
too often we get kaught up in thinking
that these guys are just boxing to prove they are the best
but its that plus a combination
                      of money and business
                      it's a job
and i dont kare who they fight as long as nobody takes a dive
or anything is planned, thats the element in boxing i cherish most
