The fact that Roy didn't get stopped until he was 35 and he had lost some speed is a testament to how good his defence was. And yes, moving the hell out of the way is defence.

      they both have equal reflexes

i think roy had the quicker hand speed
Floyd's reflex's have never been close to Roy's

Roy's hands are, with the exception of a prime Mosley and Meldrick Taylor, the fastest hands I have ever seen.

Meldrick and Roy were also combination punchers. Floyd is a good two punch fighter. Fast as hell.

Exactly. When Roy stepped up to face people he blew them out. Floyd holds on for a narrow victory.

Roy moved up in weight too bro. It's harder to move up the higher you get in weight, and he did it with the same ease that Mayweather does.

altho i think its harder to have your first fight at 154, and end up fighting someone thats 226 lbs.. then it is to start out around 130 and fight 154 lbers

they are 2 different beasts. but roy would win if they fought but that would be a different question than who has the most skills. I would give floyd the skills by a nose hair cuz he is more complete. but both have great defense and offense but in very different ways. both are the most atletically dominant thats for sure with roy jones getting the edge in athleticism.
