I hate people like you that don't know **** about boxing and just hate on floyd. If you were a boxing fan long enough(which obviously your showing you just started watchin maybe two years ago) you would know that floyd was pushing for a mosley fight. Mayweather challenged mosley when mosley was at his peak, fresh of his 2nd win againts dlh floyd called him out for a fight mosley turned it down. Please don't talk about stuff you don't know im getting tired of all these floyd haters just finding a reason to hate him.

they didn't fight recently b/c shane is old and worthless to floyd's legacy, plus he wouldn't have been able to put on the spectacle that floyd and hatton did.

I like Shane a lot better than I like Floyd, but there is some truth to that. Mosley was offered the Mayweather fight after he beat Vargas, but he wanted more time to readjust to 147 lbs. Now that Shane has lost to Cotto, it just isn't nearly as big of an event anymore.

Mosley was also offered a mayweather fight after he beat dlh the second time and mosley turned it down.

Who did Floyd ever face at 130-135 that was the caliber of Shane Mosley? And yes, considering Mosley stopped all 8 of his title defences at 135, I give him a good chance at stopping a guy I've seen dropped by Zab Judah (that the ref was too blind to see) and hurt by mediocre fighters like Chop Chop Corley. And if Castillo could decision him, a prime Mosley definitely could.

If he was or wasnt he put on a great fight against dlh twice. That still irrelevant to the fact that mosley turned down a floyd fight twice.

and who did shane beat that was caliber of mosley? floyd beat castillo twice, chavez, corrales, gnaro hernandez, you can even throw in tony pep and manfredy. Who did shane beat the caliber of castillo and corrales which was the undefeated champed and ranked very high p4p by everybody? floyd demolished him. and like always you haters always find something to take away from floyds opponents after he beats him. and as a side note. i know all you haters give castillo the first fight i dont he lost that fight and what does floyd do gives him and immediate rematch and schools him so that first fight is pretty much worthless considering they did it again and it was the same result only by bigger margin.

Shane said he had a tooth ache and at this point, there is no need to fight Sugar Shane.
