I know Guzman isn't Mexican, so you aren't inclined to give him close rounds, but the judges agree with me that this fight wasn't that close. And don't act like you don't know what I'm talking about, Mr. Ramirez-Whitaker was not a robbery. Soto's look after the fight ended is a pretty clear indicator that he agreed too.
"Guzman isn't Mexican" What a dumb remark. Guzman fought with Soto but when he felt Soto was still willing to exchange punchs he stopped fighting in the later rounds and then would only fight in small spurts.

So you call the second gif playing, floyds style is ruining your mind of what boxing is.

Well I don't know about you... but I don't give the win to the fighter who doesn't run in the 12th round. I give the fight to the fighter who wins more rounds.

I say it was Guzman, and I say Soto didn't win very many rounds.

      Does anyone agree with me?

Well, the three judges do! 118-110 (2 rounds for Soto), 117-111 (3 rounds for Soto) 117-111.

So, 2 clear rounds for Soto, and an iffy one for him. Not exactly what I would call a close fight.

Now, if you are asking whether Guzman beat Soto up? **** no he didn't. But he did understand how to win a fight on points, and executed the way he should have.

No, wonder you're asking for "most skilled fight" you don't know what you're looking at.

Maybe you didn't read the opening post. I was looking for the fight with the two best fighters ever (or as close as it could get to it). They had to be in their prime, and at their correct weight class.

Leonard vs. Hearns seems to fit the bill.

I guess we can take a poll and see what people other than me, the official judges and Harold Lederman think about that match, and whether it was close or not. I bet you aren't going to be pleased.

Okay then... tell me, has there been another fight where two of the top 3 ATGs in a weight class squared off? No really... come up with something, and quick, since I'm such a ****ing ******.

So you knock me for posting a fight that has the most talent (the two fighters' talents combined) and then can't one up it? That's kind of a ****ty thing to do. Criticize without a solution. Allan Green and Brian Kenny mentioned it, so I thought it would be a nice topic of discussion.

marquez is rocking heaven and earth to fight Pac... too eager to get a fat payday after being paid a lowly amount for fighting chris john out of his ******ity... his draw to Pac was his biggest achievement... which morales and barrera failed to get... his ******ity will end on march 15...
