Hey Happyboxingfan. Marquez camp was offered 750,000 for a rematch years ago. They turned it down to fight Chris John in Indonesia for 30,000 and lost.
I've got one word for Nachos B. and Juanita "PENDEJO". They should be careful when they start accusing people of avoiding in the Press!

I believe he was going to get more than that, he went and fought Chris John in Indonesia for less money.

As Freddie Roach said, for "little guys" they are getting paid very well. The only reason Marquez would even get $70,000 is b/c of Pacquiao's name recognition. Marquez was being greedy, his name needs to stand on its own two feet b4 he can start making huge money demands.

I give Pacquiao credit for being a man and stepping up to fight his own personal boogieman. Marquez will finish what he started and dominate Pacquiao.
