It's a tie between Chavez-Taylor and Holyfield-Bowe for me. Since I can only pick one, I'll go with Bowe-Holyfield.

I voted for Robinson vs. Gatti.

I admit to not having seen Sorjaturong vs. Gonzalez or Castro vs. Jackson yet.

I am currently in the process of watching Quiroga vs. Anifowoshe, and I am not overly impressed with it, considering it is a FOTY.

Robinson vs. Gatti was an EXCELLENT fight with crazy amounts of punches thrown and landed.

Honorable mention definately goes to Bowe vs. Holyfield and Carbajal vs. Gonzalez.

Good poll idea. I saw all those fights live on TV and voted for 1991. It was one of the most savage fights I've ever seen. Both of those guys were ruined. For pure action Carbajal-Gonzalez and Robinson-Gatti would be close runners up.

If you haven't seen Castro-Jackson, then you are missing out big time, D!

Something must be wrong with me. I'm really not enjoying it that much (considering it is a FOTY). It's exciting and all, but for FOTY material, it is lacking IMO.

I also don't see how Quiroga is winning all these rounds... Anifowoshe is not getting much credit for the work he does it sounds like.

One of the greatest comebacks ever. It was the opening match on a JCC PPV. Few people even saw or remember it.

I only saw that fight once when it was live. Maybe my memory of it was better than the fight. I know Kid Akeem had serious injuries from that fight and his career was over. Both of those guys died early violent deaths if I'm not mistaken.
