Roy had a decent chin. He didn't take that many shots but he would take punches when he needed to. People say RJJ was impossible to hit in his prime but this is not true, Roy was hit but he was never hit very badly.

The two KO losses should be contributed to the weight-drain, age and lack of motivation.
