i would lean towards tito slightly but if duran could beat leonard at that weight he could beat tito so its a tough one

That is why I made the thread it pretty hard to call who is going to win.

I think the Duran that beat Leonard would beat Tito.

Interesting fantasy matchup! I agree with Silencer...the Duran that beat Leonard would have beaten nearly any welterweight on that night. That being said, Duran only fought a handfull of fights near the 147 pound weight class, and beat some decent contenders of the time but lacked the pop he had at lightweight. I think Tito would win a narrow ud.

theres no way tito would win a UD imo. the only way he wins is by stoppage and i dont see it happening

duran would have too much for him and would overwhelm him into a UD

I going with Duran and a couple of bodyshots but Tito could KO Duran similar fashion to Hearns if he reached on the back of the jaw

I could see Duran making a Hopkins as well as Tito making a Hearns

I don't see how you think this fight is even close. Tito is alight years form the class that Duran is in. IMO Duran is one of the greatest fighters of all time and his relentlessness is legendary.

The only chance I see Tito having is if he gets a KO punch in but with Duran's chin, I don't think that Tito could KO him with one shot.

yes duran is one of the greatest fighters of all time but his best weight was by far lightweight and titos best weight is welter thats what makes it a tough one it would be a slightly past prime duran vs a prime tito

                    Duran UD.

Tito has a puncher's chance but at 147 Duran's chin was still solid. Duran beats him in everything I feel except power shots. Duran of SRL I wins this.
