Trust me if Floyd stays at WW long enough, he's losing. Cotto, Williams, Margarito, Cintron, Clottey. Floyd's not getting through that gauntlet, sorry.

I dont think you can train someone to beat Floyd, I think you'd have to construct a fighter. It would have to be someone stronger than him, with still a high level of skill, a reach advantage and be a lefty. Someone built like Paul Williams but with way more power in their punches and with better boxing skills. That would be someone I could see beating FLoyd. The thing is, Floyd doesn't get hit often or very cleanly, so it would have to be someone who could hurt Floyd while only hitting him a little bit.

Its hard to imagine training someone to be able to outbox him.

The way to beat Mayweather in my opoin is you need couple of things depending on yourstyle. Most fighters and people here are going with physically thing but I going with tatical.

I mostly going to concentrate on Mayweather veiw and eyesight. Try to make move him into the ropes and throw some wide but really quick hooks or uppercuts as well sa using the stiff jab concentrating on covering his eyesight. Why? Because then he wont see it coming. It similar way to how Corely hurt him.

Another way is to throw a punch as if I missed and change it direction toward him. example jab near his head and change to a left hook. But this the much of the hook power goes away.

          this all need timing ofcourse.

To beat Mayweather you need to outsmart him and many fighters are not going to this direction.

another part is the mental aspect is to train more than he does

Not to discount your theory but is it even possible to train more than Floyd? Gym Rat is an understatement; I used to be super impressed with the amount of work Montel Griffin would put in, but even that pales in comparison to Mayweather, Mayweather is a round the clock kind of training machine and his focus ......

I put up my thoughts on it earlier in the thread and it is cool to see the other ideas out here too. Wouldn't it be neat if somewhere down the road a bastardized version of this post became someones training camp and they ended up beating Mayweather? Lol probably like one of the above posters: only in a video game.

oH, and even with all of those things, he'd have to have great stamina, because Floyd wears down stronger boxers and dominates them in the later rounds, and he'd have to be smart, Floyd is probably the smartest boxer around right now.

Floyd is kind of a physical freak though. Do you realize that he has the same arm length as Wladimir Klitschko? People always talk about Floyd fighting bigger guys, but he has yet to fight someone with arms as long as his.

to me, it would be very hard to beat floyd.. u would need a COMPLETE fighter to beat him, i mean someone with great boxing skill, intelligence, power, natural physical advantages, and someone who is in better shape (which almost seems impossible, he is in ridiculous shape).. he is beatable, he's not superman, but it's hard to pick him to lose until he gets older and loses some of his natural ability or if he just fights someone who is just way too big 4 him.. he has faced pretty much every style and obviously he has met them all with success
