Toney was a decent fighter when he could be bothered but he was always far too indisciplined to be counted among the all time greats at any weight he fought at. Besides which he got outboxed by Sam Peter.

Toney might just be everything that is wrong with the sport of boxing. He has disrespected the sport both by his lack of training and the fact he used drugs to cheat. I basically disagree with everything that comes out of his mouth. He is conceited, racist, and pretty much deplorable in every way…

But for some God-awful reason I can’t get enough of hearing him talk and for some really odd reason I have always been a fan of his. He is nothing like any of the boxers I like or respect but yet I can’t get enough of the guy and I really don’t have a clue why that is.
