I said the fight was closer than I thought the first time and Hatton deserves credit for it. Maybe it's because of the commentators in Britain were licking Floyd's nuts while surprisingly the Americans actually wanted him to lose

Hatton was giving Floyd problems early in their fight as well, there was no great difference in the level of competitiveness in those fights.

If bouncing off the ring post face first and landing on the canvas is close than by all means i agree..Theres only one Floyd Mayweather... Did he even break a sweat in that fight??

Cortez ruined the fight with his over officiating and Hatton didn't embarrass himself either. Nevertheless, Mayweather would have won that fight under any circumstances. Ricky simply didn't have what it would take to beat Mayweather. Time to move on to their next fights already.

Give it a break, Hatton tasted the turnbuckle & defeat for the 1st time!

It is quite a spectacle watching these ****** British dinosaurs defend the midget from manchester... Why they would choose to remind themselves of a performance as uninspiring as Cornwallis' white flag waving at Yorktown is a question even the Patriot is unable to answer...

It was not a close fight. I love Ricky Hatton... he fought Mayweather at 147... said he wanted to come to America and fight the best, and he did. He also tried to fight the fight necessary rather than cost to a decision and try to set up a fight with Oscar. I have a tremendous amount of respect for Ricky. But, it was not a close fight. At all.

this is a video of the fight I made, and while editing this video, I was watching the fight very carefully and I can say that Hatton did not land any significant punches at all.

Based on this picture, fighting Hatton does not look like one of Floyd's hardest fights at all...
