I look for Joe to win the first 2 rounds, become over confident and start making those mistakes he's never been punished for making! Bernards boxing IQ will win this fight for him! I can see Bernard knocking Calzaghe out late!
Hopkins will be Calzaghe's toughest opponent to date. Like David Haye v Enzo Mac, to me this fight is a 50/50. Even if Calzaghe has a higher work rate and lands more punches, Hopkins could land more power shots and win the fight just like what happened against Winky. Too close to call.

Bernard has a chance of winning but how the **** do you come to a conclusion that it will be a KO???? Both he and Bernard have got terrific chins and amazing conditioning. The only times Joe has been down, he's been up on the count of two and beating the living **** out of his opponent none of this Bambi on ice ****. IF (and its a big IF) Bernard does win it would be by a close decision.
So I think we've established that you can't rule Hopkins out because of his craftiness. But the bottom line is that Calzaghe wins by default because of how many punches he throws and how fast his hands are.
Can Hopkins deal with that at this point in time? I don't think so.
But I would never count Hopkins out, I'd just say Calzaghe is the clear pick.
Based on the poll results I think slightly less than usual yanks are voting on this topic. It will be very close and could go either way. I think their underestimating eachother which is almost as dangerous for Calzaghe as it is for Hopkins.
I have an odd feeling Hopkins might fight particularly dirty come round 8 onwards, and a points win even with Joe's work rate, is not easy with the judge's there, I can see large potential for various controversies. A knock down at least, isn't un-realistic I don't think.
