(rough-housing, headbutting, the usual) I think b-hop is underestimating Joe believing he hasn't face elite comp over in the U.K. & is ready to get "exposed"! IMO Joe is for real & he will prove it by coming to the U.S. to take on a Living legend! Know I know Hopkins is undefeated against southpaws but IMO Calzaghe is too young (37 isn't that young), too slick & too active for this version of B-Hop! Joe isn't going to bring anything that b-hop hasn't seen but this time Ol man Hopkins wont know how to respond in order to get the W...

Expect this to be a careful/tactical chess match (WITH NO KD'S OR KO'S) with Calzaghe winning majority of rounds with activity & clean punching....7-5 OR 8-4 FOR CALZAGHE!

Agreed. Hopkins is too old. It's ****** that the first time Calzaghe is fighting in the US we have to watch him dance around against grandpa. It's going to be a boring fight... with an easy decision for Cal-Z

If Hopkins is too old, why does Ring Magazine have him ranked as #4 p4p, ahead of Joe? Hopkins is ranked #1 p4p by BoxRec!

Joe has always been very underrated, he should be no lower than #2 in those p4p rankings. Sadly, even after he decisively defeats Hopkins, those who currently rank Hopkins higher will just say "Hopkins was old"...

i'm surprised i'd thought there would have been more support for b-hop on these forums.

          come on joe!

(but whoever voted for joe to knock him out is a joker.)

I hope Calzaghe wins the fight by as wide a margin as he's winning in this poll so far!

Hopkins at his age has found ways to win even if it's not very pretty. Then Calzaghe has that style that is tough to deal with and when it seems like he's under pressure he comes back and steps his game up. It's hard to pick the winner, but I guess I would have to go with Calzaghe. He let's his hands go where B-Hop lately has been reluctant to. There will be some close rounds, but since Joe C. will more than likely be the aggressor I think he wins he's fare share of those close rounds on workrate and wins a SD.

Joe has to be careful of sneaky head butts from B-Hop. But he's fought dirty fighters before, like Bika and Salem, and managed to prevail.

Joe gets a wide UD and sends the boring old dirty **** into retirement. I liked Hop a few years ago but it's time to move on.

Hopkins said he'd "never lose to a white boy" - so I don't think he'll be happy to look back in a few years time and remember losing his last fight to Joe Calzaghe.
