Khan is 5'10 and Corrales was 5'10 1/2. This is according to boxrec though.

I wish people would just like this guy grow before he jumps, People like Hatton and calzaghe were still fighting people lighter than them at age 27 + so why cant a 21 year old 15-0 fighter? If a 140lb Hatton can fight Tony pep who was a super featherweight and Calzaghe can fight Evan Ashira a middleweight at Supermiddleweight then we can all let Khan who is still a prospect live.

Evans Ashira wasn't even a Middleweight.

          he was a Light-Middle.

not that that helps Calzaghe's case though lol

Yer I want to see Khan successful in his quest to capture a World title in 2008 however I don't think he will learn much in this fight. It is a step backwards after coming off an impressive 1st round TKO of Graham Earl.

in all fairness we don't know this is step backwards until the fight is over, if this guy takes can last 12 rounds? is it a 12 round fight?...then that in itself represents good experience for Khan.

But the other guy seems tiny with a nice record. Frank Warren is brilliant at finding these guys.lol

the guy is durable and mixed it with some good fighters.
He went the distance with Corrales(around Khan's height) and at the time Coralles was 25-0 with 22 KO's at the time.

A good replacement for Kristjansen considering that there is only 3-4 weeks to go for the fight!!

The only way St. Clair can get a big fight is overseas because he has visa issues and can't return to America. He never got to cash in on his title because of that.

                    Khan beats him by decision.

Evans Ashira fought at middleweight most of his career, had previously fought at super middle and hadn't fought at junior middle for five years before the fight. Nice try though.
