Thats nothing more than laughable for the simple fact that you would probably pick Manfredo to beat Dawson because you dont like him. Dawson is younger, faster, better tecnically sound, and just the all around better fighter than what Tarver ever was. Tarver is not or was ever in Dawsons league when it comes to overall ability and boxing brilliance.

i watched the fight..

regardless if he was fazed he was KD from a weak jab... then dropped LATE in a fight with ADAMEK.

BULK ISNT what gives you power. Dawson is a good fighter and im not saying he isnt im just saying that if Kelly were to tap that chin i think he go....

I understand what you are saying. but does being caught off balance with a weak jab make Pavlik beat him now? Thats like saying that Oscar should have beaten Mayweather because chop chop Corley (a lesser opponent) rocked him.

he wasnt caught off balance for one..

we arent discussing a part time past his prime fighter like Dela who had one fight in three years, and as good as dela was/is and he has decent power..he isnt known for his KO power like Kelly, i just think if Kelly taps that chin CD will go, eventually. he got caught late agaisnt Adamek.i just think Kelly would catch him early, mid rounds, late..and he get KO'D. just my opinion.

Again, he was off balance and got caught with one of the weakest jabs i have ever seen. Nobodys chin is that weak, be real man.

Oscar was coming off of win over Ricardo Mayorga for the WBC junior middlweight title and looked impressive. Not that Mayorga was elite at the time but that was a good win for a fighter that was knocked out in his last fight. (Bernard Hopkins)

I respect your opinion but Dawson will not go anywhere because Pavlik is too robotic to catch the elusive Chad Dawson. Like i said before, Dawson does everything that Taylor does not, he spins off of the ropes, has a good guard, fights going backward, and has brilliant counter punching. He was sleeping on Ademek and got stunned with a right hand and even then, he was not seriously hurt and was not even close to being stopped. The thing that you are completley ignoring is that he got up like a champion and dominated both of those fights. Not only did he get up but he did not even hold on, he kept fighting and won the last 2rounds.

Its currently Ademek. Give the man time, he is an undefeated 25 year old champion who is still learning and devoloping boxing skills. To Dawsons credit, Ademek was an unfeated champion and a knockout artist.
