Delahoya v. Chavez sounds good, but not right now. Realisticly 1 more year then take on Delahoya. Even more realisticly is a Mayweather v. Chavez Jr. match some time next year. It'll happen if Mayweather sticks around - which i doubt.

I Would'nt Even Buy This Fight On Ppv Unless The Undercards Were Good. Chavez Jr Is Just A Prospect, How Well Do You Think He'd Do Against A 6 Time World Champion? A Champion That Almost Won A Split Dicision Against The P4p Fighter? Not Good At All. I Say Jr Would Be Knocked Out In 1-2 Rounds. And De La Hoya Would Be Even More Ridiculed By Mexicans Everywhere, You See What Happened With His Mexican Fan Base After The Julio Fights, No One From Mexico Accepted Him, And Now That He Lives In The Pr, He Would Really Get Ridiculed, He Can Fight Another Mexican But Is Not Allowed To Fight A Puerto Rican. Not A Good Move On His Part.

Oscar would definitely take the fight... at the end of the day all that matters to Oscar is $$$$$ just like floyd.

I don't think Jr. would take this fight though. He himself admitted not too long ago that he wasn't ready for Oscar. So there is a sign of sound reason. I think his dad and his uncle would not take this fight.

This would be like a huge pot of gold falling from the sky on Oscar's lap. No wait, scratch that a pot of gold falls from the sky everytime he fights. This would be like a semi truck container filled with gold falling on Oscars lap. Only it doesn't crush him, of course.

This fight will never happen. Jr hasn't fought a contender yet, no way they'll put him up against a HOF and savy guy like Oscar, he would humilliate their family now, what's next Omar? For Oscar that means losing millions on a possible Floyd rematch or show down against Cotto or Tito vs Jones winner.
