    When comparing Mayweather to Cotto.

You have to put in account that Mayweather started his career much earlier then Cotto, which is about 5-6 years. Take that into consideration when you talk about how many more champs Mayweather has fought then Cotto.. He's been in the game longer Now when you compare them in the welter division which they have both been in for 2 years, who has the better welter record? Give the boy 5 years though and I guarantee he will have a resume just as impressive.. if not, better.

fool, you better go check the resume. Who has Cotto beat better at WW? He beat Mosley and thats it but in that same time Floyd has beat Oscar at 154, a Hatton that still beat a good Collazo which is much better then anyone Quintana has ever beat, a Baldomire who hadnt loss in a million years, and he beat a easily better version of Zab then Cotto. Cotto beat Zab when he hadnt won a fight in over 2 years and was just coming off of a year long suspension.

Now, you also better check the resume when you talk about the age. Floyd is way ahead of the game when it comes to age. Floyd is like the guys in the 80's. Cotto, Williams, and all these other guys didnt start fighting top guys until late in there career. Floyd was fighting a undefeated killer in Chico when he was just 23 and had a ton of big fights around that time. All that was done way younger then when Cotto started having tough fights. People make Williams sound like this young guy who is fighting everyone. Dude was 26 when he started doing stuff. Floyd was 23 and having top fights back to back

Who are you calling fool, idiot. If you are so confident Floyd has faced better opposition at welter why do you have to talk about Oscar at 154, his career at lightweight, and his fight against chico. The truth is that Hatton was gifted his win over Collazo, Baldomir is ****, and Cotto disposed of Judah quicker than Floyd and there is only ONE Zab Judah. Cotto has, in fact, done more at welter than Floyd so don't try to weasel your bull**** onto this board calling other people fools. It is you that has been fooled.

Beating the lineal WW champion of the world, and the former undisputed champion of the world in back to back fights, that in itself is more than anything Cotto has done at WW. And that's not even including Mayweather's destruction of Ricky Hatton, and beating De La Hoya at 154, while fighting in the ring weighing 148.
