I thought Oscar said something about fighting a tune up and not making the fans pay for it. If so he won't be fighting Floyd, at least this time around.

I always thought it was going to be Cotto vs Dela Hoya and hope that Cotto would beat him (preferably by KO) and that would set up a huge Cotto vs Mayweather showdown in December...oh well nothing is written in stone yet hopefully this blows over and Oscar gets with Cotto in May or April.

If Oscar and Cotto fight and Oscar wins would people be against an Oscar vs Mayweather rematch.

What a lowsy start of 2008, this is the **** that ruins boxing. I sure hope these fights don't materialize and if they do I'll be disgusted by DLH as a boxing fan. How can the man who claimed to be saving boxing just last year be destroying it close to his last fights.

If DLH decides to fight Cotto, it will turn boxing into a positive direction: Cotto will be raising his stock regardless of win or lose, MM will be tempted to return against Cotto if he wins, Margarito or Judah will be facing Cintron or Williams and contenders like Gomez, Berto Clottey and maybe Mosley will turn to eachother who's worthy of being the next champion. This however would be the perfect scenario and is unlikely to happen, it's all in the hands of the Golden Boy...

              For the Sake of Boxing

if Oscar want a rematch he is scare to death to Fight Cotto, why Mayweather, we do not want to see that boring Fight again, i know i will not buy that fight again. why oscar want to retire lame and ashame. Oscar Fight a REAL FIGHTER, don't be a chicken, face cotto the destroyer.and let mayweather dancing with his pink panties.

I'd rather see Floyd take on Shane than De La Hoya again, even if Shane is not the fighter he used to be. (but nowhere near shot)
