Am not saying Hatton is scared of Witter but to say he never ducked Witter is just plain dumb.
I'll say it again. Witter done nothing to merit a shot at Hatton for years. While Hatton was trying to build towards a world title shot Junior Witter messed about in ****** fights that done absolutely nothing for his reputation. Since Witter defeated Harris he has put himself in contention but a Malignaggi fight is still more profitable and Witter doesn't seem to be doing hellish much in terms of upcoming fights which is hardly surprising given his track record.

On what grounds do you say Hatton ducked him? Because Witter stuck his nose in a post fight interview?

Why is Witter ducking Malignaggi and why was he too scared to fight Castillo?

**** all apart from being rated #2 at LWW behind Hatton?

It's the only logical fight at Light Welter for Hatton. I know he can't stand him, and you can't really blame him, but there's really no good reason why this fight can't happen.

Hatton can make more money fighting Maliganggi. There's one good reason.

So Witter was doing nothing while Hatton was building himself towards a world title shot? The same Witter that went the traditional way of winning the British,Commnwealth and European Titles before gunning for a world title While Hatton was fighting Bums on the less regarded WBU title.

Please tell us who hatton fought to get a shot at the IBF champ in Tsyzu? Hatton's ranking was paid for by Frank warren who has a better rep with all this boxing organisation, Warren build Hatton's fanbase just like he did Naz and calzaghe, People like you just jumped on that bandwagon.

Hatton ducked Witter for years when he was fighting bum even the hardcore hatton fans admit it..

Witter is now the number one contender at 140 and also hold the WBC belt if thats not good enough for you then so be it.

If hatton want to continue fighting lesser fight so be it, If he want to tell dumb fans like you that all this lesser known fighter are a better fight than his main World/domestic rival then so be it.

When Hatton was fighting "bums", who or what was Junior Witter fighting exactly?

You're on fire, Ray. Some good points.

The attempts to deny that Junior is deserving of a piece of Ricky look more and more like folly as the months pass.
Junior Witter is Hatton's #1 domestic challenger. If Ricky has to get other business out of the way first, so be it.

But he has to meet Junior sometime soon, if he doesn't want it to look like he ducked him altogether.

The variables here are a different set from the ones that prompted Floyd Mayweather's recent move into semi-retirement (and perceived 'ducking' of Cotto), for those playing that card.

Too many bum to even attempt to list on here while he was the WBU champ, Hatton never fought anyone ranked to get him into the position of challenging Tsyzu, I was a fan of Hatton who followed him but the moment i knew the guy wouldnt fight his main domestic rival i lost interest in him.

His ranking was brought by Frank warren while Witter had to fight and go through the Really route of winning the lonsdale belt, British,Commonwealth and European titles, Trying to convinces us that Witter isnt deserving of a shot at hatton is just isnt right IMHO.

Really? Maybe you would like to outline those variables and explain what makes them different.
