Floyd has so many business ventures right now that he can make a good amount of money with out further wearing down his body. I truly believe that Cotto is insignificant and he puts no more emphasis on him than he does on a Paul Williams. They are all contenders who are below him.

Obviously instead of crying about what Floyd is doing, Cotto and his fans need to be men and seek out Paul Williams. Though they instead opt to fight Gomez, which is pathetic. Yes, in that case, Cotto is hiding from the real threats at WW. Floyd is a proven product, Cotto is developing and so is Williams. They will never fight though because 5 years from now, Cotto will still be waiting on Floyd, fighting bums.

I've been saying this all along. Floyd is waiting it out, hoping that Cotto loses to one of the other top Welters. He'll then say that Cotto is not worthy, and doesnt bring anything to the table. Truth of the matter is, Floyd is afraid of losing. How are u the WW champ, yet dont want to face any of the top welters?? Every single top welter poses a very dangerous threat to Floyd's O. i honestly think floyd thinks cotto is garbage... he thinks cotto is a punching bag.. and he wants a vacation, hes been doin this for 20 years.... in the last year alone hes had 3 championship fights, two HBO 24/7 documentaries, and Dancing with the stars... i think the man is honestly worn the hell out.. mentally and physically.. i think he really does need a break... im sure hes thought about the fact that cotto isnt quite a draw yet, but i think its mostly he just really wants a break...
