That's not my fault though. Hopkins still made him his *****, even if he went on to lose twice in a row to ****ing Jermain Taylor. Still dosen't change the fact that Hopkins beat Glen Johnson badly.
Taylor will beat Pavlik in the rematch anyway.

        I doubt it.

Also Glen Johnson has offered Hopkins a rematch many times but so far Hopkins hasn't accepted. Lets see if they both win their fights (or lose them), maybe they can have the rematch.

When Johnson fought Hopkins the first time he had a padded up record and had only been boxing for 4 years, Hopkins was already a champion and hitting his prime. The fight would've been great in 2005 when Johnson was the number one LHW.

Now Hopkins is the ring magazine champion and Johnson might establish himself as the number one challenger IF he beats Dawson (I don't see it happening though).

I'm with you on that one. At least I sincerely hope he does.

Thats one of the reasons I like Johnson thou, when he lost, it didn't effect him. He kept fighting frequently & then successfully, esp in 04. You have to commend his will & determination. Dude is a warrior. Plus the BHOP fight was the only time he was ever KO'd. I mean Lacy didn't even get KO'd verse Calzaghe, he just got embarrassed & look how he fights now?

I've always liked Glen, going back to when he seemingly couldn't buy a decision earlier in the decade. Glad to see he managed to accomplish as much as he has through the years, particularly in the twilight of his career.

That said, I'm pulling for Chad in this one. But both are very good for the sport. Glen's just had his day, though, and has been on borrowed time for a minute.

i like glen johnson a lot... hes a hard worker who never seems to get a break outside of his KO over roy... he seems like a great guy.. especially his infamously humble line

If Hopkins get past Calzaghe, and Johnson beats Dawson, then lets see Hopkins-Johnson II.

One of my favourite fighters. I still think Dawson will win but people who think it will be an easy night for Chad are sadly mistaken. Glen will keep plowing forward, and I doubt if Chad can really hurt him, Glen has got one of the best chins around. Johnson has been robbed so many times I just hope it doesn't happen again....Come on Glen!

I'm bumping this topic up with some Glen Johnson vid's.

Glen Johnson TKO Hugo Pineda 8th round. Johnson's latest fight.

Bernard Hopkins putting the beatdown on a green Glen Johnson.
