Call me crazy, but I like exciting fighters and exciting fights. Apparently, I'm in the minority.

This fight should be exciting. Joe will do his usual thing for 12 rounds if need be, if B-hop does his usual thing they are both in for an early night, as sheer volume of punches will wear the old man down, and Calzaghe will put him away in impressive fashion with his vastly underrated power.

Has nobody ever wondered why fighters never say he slaps after a fight? Thats because he punches, hard. He was 22-0 with 21 KO's when he won the WBO title. Lacy had never been down, Mitchell had never been stopped, Eubank had never been hit so hard (his own words), Kessler had never been hurt that bad in the pro's or the am's, try telling these people he slaps, see what reaction you get.

Joe might pull his punches early in this fight, but towards the later rounds hes gunna let the leather fly and put this **** away, hopefully for good.

That's why he moved up in weight and captured the LHW Title, and defended it against the sports #2 P4P fighter. The "Old Miser".
his talk has more bite than his fight.

I think it should be an exciting fight as well. I personally want Bernard to win, but I don't know if he has enough in the tank. Joe's no chicken, so he's not going to get rattled by any of Bernard's feints and poses. Bernard better be in shape to throw a lot of real punches.

exactley... he's aged and his "style" shows but he's winning against Elite fighters. and taking on Joe next..is pretty big IMO.

There is a reason why people think Joe slaps.
As his career has gone on he has had Numerous problems with his Hands i'e breaking them.
Reason is because the power he has is too much for his brittle hands.
So Joe has had to adapt his way of hitting to compensate which IMO makes him even more skilled as he has to think about that problem in his fights as well.
But he has proved that even with damaged mitts he can still outclass the best contenders.
And doesn't necessarily need the KO.

Hopkins-Zaghe will be a sleeper UD for the Welshman, who will simply be the busier, more agressive fighter (which won't take much). Sure Zaghe will look sloppier than usual, because Hops will help him achieve that look.

If Hops supposed "superior" countering skills catch Zaghe flush while he comes straight in throwing wild, I'm not sure Hops will take advantage of the situation and start throwing in numbers to finish Zaghe off. I'm not even sure that Hops' "pop" can do anything but sting Joe anyhow.
