I agree with what you say about all of the armchair critics, but I also agree with Mr. Stewart's general point that Bernard tends to talk a bigger fight than he produces. I think its a fair criticism that is shared by a lot of fans (including many BHop fans like me).

Btw, this is an Op/Ed (opinion/editorial) piece, not a fight report. This is the author's opinion, nothing more. Many will agree, many won't.

Who are these writers....they suck! It should be a prerequisite that you be a boxing fan in order to write about boxing. This author acts as if B-hop has been losing.

The quality of the articles being posted here lately have dropped dramatically imo. Too much hyperbole and trashing of respected fighters. Such high standards for a 43 year old. LMAO @ people telling Hops to leave it all in the ring instead of telling his old ass to retire, and LMAO @ the writer quoting Calzaghe's rants out of context as if they reinforce his premise. Horribly written, style wise and content wise. All around biased and unrealistic. It's nothing more than one man's diatribe as opposed to a well written and objective article.

Not only that, but they made it seem like Calzaghe is this huge draw. Yes, he can sell tickets at the door like no other in his home town, but last I heard his fight against Kessler was the lowest rated HBO fight ever.
